Easter and Spring

I know this is late, but I hope everyone had a great Easter.  Abigail enjoyed the weekend at my parents and really liked picking up eggs that were in their house.  She loved to see what was in each of them.  It took her a little bit of time to get used to her dress, but she looked so cute.

Since spring is here, the weather has been a little better.  Abigail, Koda and I have spent quite a lot of time outside.  Some days, we just come in to eat and then go back out.  It is a very nice change, but I think the inside of my house will be neglected all summer long....oh well, I will have a nice yard and garden.

We started swimming lessons again this past week.  The first class went pretty good and we are looking forward to some Mommy and Abby water time each week.

Well, enough with the words, here are some pictures from the last few weeks.  Enjoy!

Tennessee Vacation

We are back from our first big family vacation and I will call it a total success!

Matt, Abigail and I flew down to Nashville, TN during Matt's spring break.  Abigail did great on her first ever flight, she slept almost the entire time!  We were very relieved to have had it that easy!

In Nashville, we visited Centennial Park, had lunch with some co-worker of Alyssa's who live in Nashville, walked down Lower Broadway (the Honky-Tonk district), purchased some cowboy boots, ate local food, and mainly enjoyed the 80 degree days!

We rented a 2 bedroom house/duplex while we were in Nashville, so we had a yard and deck to enjoy the weather.  Abigail loved being outside and playing in the grass.  It was so great to be outside in shorts and a t-shirt!  Abby loved having the freedom of not being stuck on the patio like she is in our backyard due to the amount of snow we have.  Abigail was a very good traveler, we made sure to stick with her nap schedule as much as possible.

Abigail had major "puppy withdrawal" while we were away. Anytime she saw a dog/puppy, she yelled "Puppy, Puppy, Puppy!" until we acknowledged her.  It was very cute, but you could see that she missed her furry sidekick while we were away!

After a few days in Nashville, we trekked over to visit Andrew and Erin in Knoxville.  It sure was great to see both of them.....I think the last time we saw Andrew was in August!!!  Knoxville is a very nice area with amazing restaurants.  We even managed to sneak in some time at a large playground downtown, which we will all admit, we had a great time!  While visiting Andrew and Erin, Abigail was able to play with their cat, which she LOVED!!!  I think we all heard "kitty" a million times that day, but it was so worth it!

As all vacations must come to an end, so did ours...even though the thought has crossed my mind that we should have just packed more and stayed!!!  Our travel home took an entire day between driving to Nashville, airplane ride and trip back to Wausau...we were all pretty exhausted last night, but it was nice to have today yet to get things back in order before going back to real life....frown!

Below are some pictures of our amazing TN vacation!
