Happy Holidays!

First and foremost - we want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season!  Crazy to think that Christmas is already this Thursday!!!  Also, sorry for the delay - but life has been crazy busy lately!!!

Here is what Abigail has been up to lately.....
-She LOVES to sing....right now her favorite is Up on the Rooftop Click Click Click.  She loves all Christmas songs and will repeat them to no end all night long.  She also loves to sing Let it Go from Frozen and the ABCs along with a few Mary Had a Little Lambs and Ring Around the Rosie!  Besides singing - she loves to dance and "shake your booty!"  Makes us laugh all the time!
-Abigail continues to talk up a storm and hold conversations with us that we pretty much understand.  We can ask her questions about what happened at school and she will tell us.  Not sure if it is all true or not, but the people she talks about are real!
-We have moved her out of her crib, to the toddler bed and now onto a twin mattress on the floor.  So far she loves her new bed and her Princess Sophia sheets!
-She sure loved helping with the baking this year for the holidays.  I didn't do much but she sure loved to dump in the ingredients and watch them be mixed together.  She still loves frosting more than the cookie!
-We finished up another 2 sessions of swimming lessons - she is making such huge strides to being comfortable in the water and learning to swim.  It has been a fun thing for her and I to do while Matt is gone to basketball.  We signed up for the winter session of swimming and we are going to try gymnastics again too.  Hey, I will try anything to tame this wild child of mine!
-Speaking of gymnastics - she loves to stretch and summersault and all things jumping!  This kid can jump off anything in the living room pretty much about a million times and still have energy.  She also loves to spin and twirl in circles so much that she falls over giggling!  Crazy nut!
-My parents purchased a house in the area in September/October so Abigail (and Koda) have loved going over there and running around the still semi-empty place.  Sure is nice to see them and then drive home....all 7 minutes of a drive!
-Last week, she had her Christmas program at school.  She was SUPER ADORABLE to watch sing and do the motions.  She even told the kids around her how to do the movements if they were not moving....my little dictator!!!  Papa was able to come up and see this, it was beyond cute!!!
-The entire Christmas season gains a whole new meaning when you have a child in the house that understands things!  Everytime we see Santa anywhere - there is excitement.  She knows that Santa is going to bring her presents and right now when we ask her what he will bring her....she says apple!!!  Funny!
-Abigail and I went to the holiday parade in Wausau this year.....it was a great experience for both of us since I have never gone before.  She LOVED it all, the lights, the music, the noise, the candy, the animals and of course SANTA!!!!  She was shaking with excitement when he came along!!  Too adorable!
-Over Thanksgiving, my parents gave Abigail a nativity set by Little People for St. Nick.  Well, that has officially started the obsession with Baby Jesus!  She knows about Mary and Joseph too, but Baby Jesus is her favorite.  If she sees him anywhere, she will yell it out!  I think she yelled about him a few times during the parade....I wonder what the people around us thought!!!

Couple funny things that she has said in the past few months that I can remember right now....
-Back in September or October after I got my new car, we were finishing dinner and Abby asked for a cookie.  We said, what is better than a cookie - thinking that she would say cake....well she said CAR!!!  Yikes, we are in for it!
-She repeats just about EVERYTHING we say and sometimes she will address her dad as Matt.  Yes, it upsets him but in a small way, it is adorable!!
-Gosh - I wish I could remember all of the stuff she says because it is sure adorable and funny!

So, now to the fun part - pictures....there are a lot just due to the fact that I have not been keeping up on this lately!  Maybe 2015 will bring more posts.....don't hold your breath!!!

The past month....

I know it has been over a month since I last posted....but that just goes to show how busy our family has been!  We have really been enjoying our little girl....she is such a crazy nut and so much fun!

So, here is a quick recap of the past month....
-we celebrated her 2nd birthday with my parents the week after her birthday and her actual birthday was spent with just our little family.  She thoroughly enjoyed her gift....sure was nice to see the joy in her face as she opened them all up.
-We started back at swimming lessons and she is LOVING them!  She wants to jump off the side of the pool and splash a lot.  She is getting the hang of kicking and using her arms....such makes a fun night for her and I!
-School is back and in full swing.  Matt is adjusting very well to being at Mosinee.  Things are different but he seems more relaxed and enjoys the classes that he is teaching.
-We pulled off a surprise retirement party for my dad - everyone had a great time!
-We purchased another new car...another Toyota Camry....just like Matt's but white and it is for me.  I LOVE it so far!!
-This past weekend we went to Grampa's Farm in Merrill, the same place we went last year.  It was 70+ degrees on Saturday when we went so it was gorgeous to be outside!  Abigail didn't know which animals to go to first....she was so excited to pet the goats, donkey, chickens, horse, ducks, rabbits, etc.  She had a great day....Matt and I also enjoyed ourselves and seeing our daughter experience everything!

Couple fun and crazy things that she has been up to that I need to write down:
-Abigail likes to bring home "rocks" from her school's playground.  It is only pea gravel, but she fills her pockets or her diaper with it and is so darn proud of herself!  Crazy kid!
-She loves to "write" our grocery list while we tell her the items.
-Loves to jump....not just on the ground, she loves to jump on the bed and the couches!!
--I know there are a ton more things that she does that makes us laugh and shake our heads, but of course, right now I can't think of anymore!!!

Well, since it has been over a month - below are a TON of pictures!!

Enjoy and I will do my best to post again soon!
