A Growing Lindsey Family: The rest of July

Well now that August is upon us, I thought I should update for the rest of July.

It has been quite a crazy month for us, but very good.
Matt has accepted a position as the high school chemistry teach in Mosinee. This is where he did his student teaching, so that is pretty neat. We are all very excited for this change, but a little nervous to see how the longer drive and new school year will go. In the end, it is a good change for Matt and this family.

Since he will be driving further, we decided to purchase a 3rd vehicle to keep gas costs down. We are going to keep Matt's truck since we use it quite a bit - so we have entered into the world of 2 drivers, 3 cars! We purchased a 2014.5 Toyota Camry - it is our first brand new car and Matt is loving it so far. It gets great gas mileage and we hope that we can use it for weekend trips.

Scott, Sarah, Grace, Jade and Rommel came up to visit one weekend in July. That was a crazy weekend with 3 girls and 2 dogs - but it was fun. Grace and Abigail sure enjoyed playing together. We spent some time at the Splash Pad and riding the little train at Marathon Park. Overall it was a great weekend and nice to spend time with them.

Last weekend, we had Matt's brother and sister up to visit - nice to spend time with them. We played with Abigail and Koda and had some fires in the backyard! Very relaxing!

We made a trip to Mishicot also this month so that Matt could get some golfing in with my dad. It is always nice to spend the weekend there relaxing. We even squeezed in a trip to the Green Bay Wildlife Sanctuary...Abby sure loved feeding the geese/ducks!

This weekend we are off to start the birthday celebrations with Matt's family. I am not throwing big birthday parties each year, so this year it will be split up into a couple of weekends with each family. Nice and small - the way we like it!
