November....catching up!

November was a fun month again for our house.  Matt started basketball so we had to readjust our normal home life for the season.   Abigail is looking forward to going to the games, seeing dad, and a few treats from the concession stand!

We experienced a snowfall in early November which was a treat as the snow was wet and very buildable!    We spent a good chunk of time outside building a few snowmen and pulling a sled around.   Such joy a few inches of white stuff can bring to our family!

Thanksgiving we were able to celebrate twice....once with Matt's family and once at home with grandma and papa and Beaker spending the night.   Fun and relaxed!

Abigail continues to love school and is always excited to tell me about her day.   Her teacher is so amazing and keeps those kids learning and having fun.    The teacher shares pictures with us during the day which is wonderful for these working parents to get a glimpse into her day!

Matt was gone to a science conference for a few days but have no fear,  he brought Abigail experiments!    That girl loves her science!    They played with LittleBits and even built a robot!  Koda thought he should get in on the action too!

As the month came to an end, the Christmas season and excitement has hit this house hard!   We usually don't put up our tree until mid-December, but when an excited child asks to have it up right after Thanksgiving,  you do it.   It has been wonderful to have it up and we have all enjoyed it!

Enjoy these pictures from our November!

The rest of October

We have been enjoying life lately.   The weather is getting cold and the snowflakes have started to fly.   The leaves are falling fast so Abigail has been helping us take care of the yard.   She is a pretty good helper and likes to keep telling us that we are doing a good job and to keep working.

Pumpkin carving went smooth this year and Matt enjoyed carving his own pumpkin!   Abigail was brave enough to pull the guts out of the pumpkin this year!

For trick or treating Abigail asked to be a witch.    She was super excited with a costume that we found in the store......so win for this mom!    We will head out for some trick or treating on Halloween so that will make the week fun.

Nothing much else so enjoy the pics!

First half of October!

Well since October is now half over I better play catch up on what has been going on around here..

Abigail continues to love school.   She has learned so much and we love hearing all about it every night.   She is such a fun kid right now and she is so proud of all she is learning.

Last weekend we took a trip down to see Matt's parents.   They were having a Fall Festival but the weather put a damper on that.....but not the fun family time.   Abigail just loves to go to their house and play with toys and do projects.   She has so much energy and sure loves to leave grandma and papa exhausted!    A fun and relaxing weekend was just what this family needed!    We were also able to squeeze in a nice dinner in a hip, quiet, and upscale place right in Wonewoc.    Such a nice treat to have a wonderful dinner with great company!

Well until the next time I get around to posting....enjoy the pics!

Family Night and some extras

This past week Abigail's school held a family night.   Our little girl was so excited that we were counting down the days to the big night.

As soon as we parked she had to lead and show us the way.    She had to say hi to so many people,  both teachers and friends!   It was such a wonderful feeling to know that so many people know and care about our little nut.

After dinner in her lunchroom and meeting a few more of her friends,  we headed out to do a Home Depot project.   Of all the options, she chose a bug house.   She did a great job with building it and had a good time.

After we were done building we went to the library since it was raining out.  She was so excited to show us where the state books are!    We played some games and then called it a night.

It was so wonderful to see Abigail so confident and happy to be at school.

The weekend Big A joined us so of course this house was wild!   Abigail was so happy on Friday when he got here,  she was talking a mile a minute!

Also attached are some other pictures from this past week.....trying to keep this blog updated better!

Apples!

Today we went to Rock Ridge Orchard to do some apple picking!   It was a gorgeous day out so we were happy to be outside.

As soon as we pulled up, Abigail had to run over and see the animals, especially the horse.   This girl and her animals!  After a little climb on the hay bales, we were ready to head out and get picking!

Good thing dad and Adam were there to help Abigail grab some high ones!   She needed to inspect all the apples as we picked them.

We ended out trip with one treat for our little sugar living girl.....a Carmel Apple with SPRINKLES!

Overall a fun day for us and nice to have Big A come along for the 2nd year of apple picking!
