Abigail and Koda

I think there is an old saying about a "boy and his dog", but I beg to differ!  I think it should be about a "girl and her dog!"  Abigail LOVES Koda and I have to say that the feeling is mutual.  Koda may have been unsure of this little girl at first, but he has grown to love her. Yes, she is rough with him sometimes, but in the end, they are always together.  I couldn't ask for a better dog and friend for my little girl!

Fun Times

Another weekend has come and gone....but it was another good one!  My parents were in town so that my dad could golf with Matt in an outing and my mom could visit with us girls!  My mom, Abigail and I met up with my Aunt Jan, Kelly, her two kids (Caitlyn and Ian) and Krysta and her little daughter Ireland and went to the Marshfield Zoo.  The weather was not what we were planning for, but it sure was a good time.  It is always nice to get to visit with everyone and let the kids be together.

Abigail is still crawling like a maniac - she sure loved racing down the hallway with my dad.  It was super cute!  She still LOVES Beaker - and he is pretty good with her pulling his fur and grabbing his feet and tail!

Overall, another great weekend.  Hope you all had a great one too and a good week!

Happy Father's Day...and 10 Months Old!

First and foremost....Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!  Hope you all have a great day!!

Abigail is very lucky to have such a great group of men in her life....all of them are different, but great in their own ways.  Matt is a great father who is always there to play with Abigail and to be her jungle gym!  Matt and I both have great fathers - we couldn't ask for better!  Thanks for everything - you guys are the best!!!  Love you all!

Tomorrow, Abigail will be 10 months old!  INSANE!!!!  Our life sure has changed, we are never just sitting around anymore and my house always looks like a Toys R'Us exploded in it!  I wouldn't change it for anything.  Abigail sure has a personality now and LOVES to move.  She has started "dancing" now when there is music playing, super cute!   I will continue to subject her to my favorite artists in hopes that she enjoys them too!

On a side note, today is also Matt and my's 6th wedding anniversary.  6 years ago today, I would have never guessed that this is how my life would be.  It has been a great 6 years so far, but I am looking forward to what is still ahead of us.  Marriage isn't easy, but in the end, it is pretty great!!!

Caution: Abigail is on the move!

Yep, that is correct, Abigail is now crawling!!  Not just backwards like she has been, but forwards now!  She has been doing this for about a week now and I think she is getting faster each day!  She has great form, so nothing goofy or funny, just your standard crawling - but this mom thinks it is adorable!!  Abigail loves to crawl after Koda or his toys and does it with a BIG smile on her face!!!

Since she has started crawling now, we have entered the world of baby gates!  We are also working on cabinet locks and outlet covers.  Gosh, there are a lot of things that are very interesting to little girls!!!

This past weekend we had Matt's mom and brother up.  It was a great weekend and Abigail was amazing.  We did a lot of relaxing and hanging out - it was great!  Abigail got some 'grandma time' in, so that is always good!  It was great to have them up, but it sure makes a weekend go by fast!

Nothing much...

Nothing much to report from our side.....life has been pretty good around here.  One minor hick-up this past week was that Abigail had an ear infection.  The poor girl didn't want to sleep in her own bed, she only wanted to sleep with mom or dad in the recliner.  That made for a long week for both Matt and I, but we made it through and are happy to report that all of us are back in our own beds again!!!

School ends this week so that will be a big change for our house.  I know Matt is looking forward to it! We have also been working on finishing the basement, it is nice to know that we are down to the finishing touches now.  Couple months and we will be DONE!!!
